Devoted most of her life to raising her family at the several military posts which her husband was assigned. Worked as the Assistant Town Clerk in Sharon, Massachusetts. Worked as the Assistant Town Accountant in Wilbraham, Massachusetts and the Town Accountant in Monson, Massachusetts. Upon retirement, she devoted her time to developing her talent in painting with both watercolors and acrylics. She belonged to a painting group in Monson, Massachusetts and won numerous awards for her works. Died March 1, 2003 at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Massachusetts. Buried at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Section 10, Plot 239, Bourne, Massachusetts.
